nx2android

nx2android carries nxnative’s direct-execution approach to Android. The game’s own ARM64 code runs on the device, while the project translates Switch NVN graphics calls to Vulkan. Its builder produces an APK together with the game data.

Requirements

  • Use a Windows x64 or Apple Silicon macOS builder from Releases. The project documents Android NDK, .NET SDK and Android platform tools as its toolchain; the builder helps obtain them.
  • Bring your own NSP, XCI, NSZ or XCZ files and prod.keys. The Android GPU must support BC textures: Adreno and Xclipse devices are the documented path. Mali and PowerVR are not supported.

Get started

  1. Open the project’s games table and tested-device notes before choosing a title. The Android port has its own compatibility and performance results.
  2. Download the matching builder, import the game content and keys, and follow the project’s target setup for the Android device.
  3. Build the APK and game data, then install them using the project’s documented Android flow.
  4. Launch a test game, keep the generated logs, and compare results with the project’s per-title status before changing GPU or memory settings.

Usage & troubleshooting

  • The project exposes touch controls, an editable on-screen gamepad, optional USB-device installation, save import and export, and increased address-space options.
  • A successful APK build is not a promise that every game reaches gameplay. Start with a title listed as tested for the selected Adreno or Xclipse device.
  • This is an Android community port, not an Apple-platform nxnative build. Its Android version, GPU support and game list can move independently from upstream.
