LumaNX
Previously LumaDock, LumaNX combines nxnative with a graphical library, build queue and package-conversion tools. Release 0.3.0 adds experimental Mac-only import of decrypted Switch 2 game folders and incremental preparation reuse, alongside Mac launch and unsigned IPA export.
Third-partyChecked 3 November 2026
Requirements
- Apple Silicon, macOS 26+ and full Xcode with Metal. Packaged apps include the engine and runtime tools.
- IPA export additionally needs Xcode’s iOS platform and XcodeGen. LumaNX 0.3.0 is ad-hoc signed and not notarized; iOS device compatibility remains unverified.
- Switch 2 directory import is Mac-only. It needs base/exefs and base/romfs, accepts optional update and DLC folders, requires no prod.keys, and still requires a registered nxnative profile with matching build IDs.
Get started
- Download the ARM64 DMG, check its SHA-256 against the release notes, and move LumaNX.app to Applications.
- Follow setup and choose Prepare engine tools; a separate engine download is not required.
- Choose a library, import your prod.keys, and add base games, updates and DLC as NSP, XCI, NSZ or XCZ. For the experimental Switch 2 route, import a decrypted directory organized with base, updates and dlc folders.
- Prepare the game, then select Launch game or Generate IPA in game details. Sign exported IPAs using your installation tool.
Usage & troubleshooting
- 0.3.0 reuses preparation stages that have not changed, reducing repeated work. Task progress, cancellation, retries and diagnostic logs remain available; keep save backups before trying a new build.
- The documented Switch 2 case is Donkey Kong Bananza opening-area testing on Mac. This does not establish general Switch 2 support, full-game completion, or any iPhone / iPad result.
- Switch Pro controller A/B and X/Y mapping was corrected in 0.3.0, but the bundled engine saves custom input mappings without applying them yet. The engine repository syncs daily; release DMGs are published on demand.
- A successful prepare step does not prove full gameplay compatibility. Back up saves before upgrades and use the task log for troubleshooting.
